Yesterday was a lot of fun, we had lots of family and friends over to celebrate our little hads birfday! She has been such a joy in our lives this last year. If I knew all of my future kids would be this sweet I would probably have 20 more. :) haha ok lets not get carried away.

Her newest tricks include

whisteling (its so funny my 7 year old cant even do this)
walking ( when she feels like it )
saying -micky, jayda, please, thank you,hello,hieee and ahhhhh
drawing ( give her a pen and paper and she knows what to do)
talking on the phone
playing in the toilet (gross)

I know there are tons of things I am forgetting but when they do something new almost everyday its hard to keep track of it all. (for me anyway)

We are sure blessed with our sweet children. Love ya Hadley Dawn :)

Can I slack any harder?

Haha This is the phrase that pops into my head every time I even think about my blog. I always promise to be better ,bla bla bla. I have just got to face it people, I suck at this but will keep trying. Even if its only 4 times a year. haha

So much has been going on as of late but I will try to just touch on the big stuff. :) Since we last heard from the Abbotts we have had a WONDERFULLY FANCY happy happy 4th birthday, a terrificly windy easter weekend, and today a stupendously fantastic 1st Birthday is about to unfold. I am going to try really really hard not to cry my eyes out and be excited for this occasion, but I am very sad. The baby is almost gone and it breaks my heart. You all know what I am talking about right? Well any ways I will post more later about Hadley and her big day but for now here are some great pictures of the last 2 months. Till next time. :)

Well this little bambino is 10 months old today and I figured since its been 2 months I better get a post up. haha

I cant believe it has taken me a week to post this but last monday Jayda turned 7!!!!! Holy cow I am so old. haha She had a great birthday, a new bike, cupcakes in her class, a family party that night and even a few special visits from unexpected people. :) Thanks every body.

Michael had told a friend he would help them drive a boat down to ROOSEVELT LAKE last weekend (a real hardship), so us girls decided to go visit my sis and her family in Flagstaff for a couple of days. It was mostly a fun visit other than our lake trip getting rained out, Mikelle vomiting on me at 2 am and spending way to much cashola! haha No but really it was fun, thanks Scott, Melvinsky and boys for letting us stay with you. We'll do it again soon. :)

4th Weekend

We had a lot of fun over the weekend! Leslie and her family were here, and my aunt Belinda and her kids also came up. It was great to see everyone and spend a little time together. I thought one of my neighbors was shooting guns at 4 in the morning and couldnt figure out why, then I realized it was just the anvil going off. haha the new perks of living in taylor! :) I also rode a horse for the 1st time in about 14 years. Whoa. My honey was so proud. This horse thing by the way is just Michaels latest obsession. Michael was brave enough to take all 3 of the girls to the rodeo by himself while I was at work. He said it wasnt hard at all. (what ever) haha All in all it was a good 4th, hope every one elses was also great!

Blessing Day

We were able to bless our little sweet heart at home yesterday with alot of our close friends and family around us. Thanks everyone for coming, especially those who drove from out of town! And for those of you who werent able to be there we missed you! We love all of you guys.

Me and Haddie had a great conversation after the big day was over, sorry you have to hear my annoying baby voice but she is so cute.

Another milestone yesterday was that Jayda lost her very 1st tooth! Its been "wiggly" for a couple of weeks and when Michael gave it a little push last night it popped right out. Jaydas face was priceless! I just about blew it though, on her first try, that darn tooth fairy almost forgot to come get her tooth last night but quickly redeemed herself this morning. haha :)

This little baby has been so much fun. She is normally the sweetest little girl but at the moment she is starving and screaming at me. haha I better make this short. She gained 2 & 1/2 pounds in one month, still has blue eyes and will sleep all thru the night as long as she sleeps right next to her mama. I love her so much!!!!

Well for some reason Mikelle did not hit her stride til she turned 3 but man is she running now.

This girl is like a little natural disaster! Every 5 minutes she is doing something crazy. I mean she had a few little incidents before, but now I can barely keep up with her. AHHHHH! Im late posting this, but last week she decided that scissors are her new best friend. I was so sad untill I got done fixing it and now I am in love with her hair! Just dont tell her that! :)

I think one of the most exciting things for me when having a new baby is to see what they look like. Will she have my huge nose or my green eyes, will she be tall like her dad or have mommys troll feet? Its really fun to watch them grow and change and turn into little people. Haddie still has me guessing but most recently Im wondering if its just me or does this girl have really blue eyes? You tell me, but Im thinking redish hair, blue eyes, medium skin and a few cute frekles thanks to daddy-o. I think she is going to be pretty tall and is gonna play some serious ball because she has really big hands for a girl. But these are all just guesses, the real fun is later on down the road to see if I am right.

RN decides to check me and exlaims "YOUR COMPLETE"
me- "does that mean im at a 10" ?
RN- "uh YA" !
So no meds, no epideral
We'll skip the to the good part
Baby born 10:25 am HURRAY!!!!!
ps mid wife walks in 10:33 to help with the clean up
also my mom and dad were in IDAHO :(

I just need to say Happy Birthday to my baby! Mikelle is turning 3 today and we cant believe it. She is such a joy in our home and I love her so much. Even though shes "not my best friend" most days! haha We had her party on Saturday so I will try to add some pictures later when I get home from work. Needless to say she got super spoiled like usual and had a great time. Thanks to every one who came and made her day so special. :)

Ok I can tell that I am 36 weeks and pretty ready to go! The last 2 weeks I can not sleep. I have been getting up at 1:30 am and 3:30 am and just doing random things like demolition and organizing my pantry. haha Any who I have also got the crafting bug! These were my projects from yesterday and as suprising as it might sound the sewing was a piece of cake. The wall hanging had me using bad words. Go figure.

Ok so I really am not in love with this picture but I am posting it just for my sister who requested it! (you better feel special) haha. This was girls night out! Jayda and I went and met up with Rayna, her mom and Addie-cakes to watch the high school production of O____KLAHOMA! I had a vocal student who was involved so we went to support her and also some of my fellow cast from the JOSEPH play that I did last summer. 2 of them were the leads so we had fun getting to watch them. Let me just say that it was really well done. I enjoyed it alot and so did Jayda. But that could just be because she is in love with Matt B. (below)the star of the show. :) haha

Any ways life is good and I am now at 35 1/2 weeks! yae

Picture yourself in the middle or your taxes, 32 weeks prego only 8 weeks til number 3 arrives, the dog who is living in your laundry room snuck out while you were gone and ate 1/2 the food in your pantry and destroyed your garbage all over the house, your allergies are really bugging you, the 2 year old wants to shove herself onto your ever shrinking lap every five minutes, all you have eaten in the last 6 hours was some soggy nachos and a variety of strange cookies and the computer starts to really tick you off!!! ok Now picture your always giving, super considerate hero walking in from serving at the temple for 6 hours strait, looking at you with those compassionate understanding eyes, giving you a quick shoulder rub and offering to make you what ever your pregnant little heart desires to eat. Ahhhhhhhhh! I lub my dad!

Ps he's not crazy, this is what happens to a man that survives raising 6 daughters!

Did I mention he is a way better cook and entertainer than Julia Childs :)

My mom sent me this in an email and I thought it was great so in honor of Valentines Day here is a great little bit about some of the things I love the most, my mom and being a mom:

Before I was a Mom

Before I was a Mom I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.

I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.

I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.

Pooped on.

Chewed on.

Peed on.

I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.

I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.Or give shots.

I never looked into teary eyes and cried.

I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.

I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down.

I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.

I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.

I never knew that I could love someone so much.

I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom - I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.

I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.

I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.

I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom - I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.

I had never known the warmth, The joy, The love, The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.

I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.

And before I was a Grandma, I didn't know that all those "Mom" feelings more than doubled when you see that l ittle bundle being held by "your baby".

Well my sweet heart of a big sister, Kara, decided that she would spend her weekend up in good ol Snowflake with me doing some things to get ready for the baby. We were going to get the nursery painted and maybe even get her crib and changing table re-finished, but thanks to a really nasty turkey sandwich from a random gas station she ended up sicker than a dog with food poisoning. Needless to say we didnt get much done as far as that went but its ok we still got to spend some time with her and her sweet new puppies. She also brougt stuff for the girls to make valentines with her and they really loved that. She is always thinking of others and trying to help out wherever she can. Thanks Kara for everything! We love you so much.

An almost restful day

one king size bed covered in warm snuggli blankets + one tigger movie + one container full of goldfish + one black dance rea-tard(leatard) + one baby Belle + 2 sweet sisters and a really tired mom = an almost restful day. :)

Well today is wednesday, a day I dread because as of right now I have no sitter for wednesday and that means that I get to come home after working a 10 1/2 hour shift and start my real job, MOM. haha Oh so needless to say wednesdays have become movie watching, eating snacks in bed kind of days. I know I am such a bad mother :( Any who these are some pics from our afternoon of laziness. Ps this is pretty much all my baby wants to wear these days, we have a few from when Jayda did ballet and then a couple in the dress ups and some how she manages to sneak them on every single day and what a battle it is to change her. haha she is a funny one. ps she calls them her "rea-tards". hahaha

Well not a lot of major stuff has been going on the last little while which is probably a good thing. Michaels elk hunt is finally over! Yae. He got a pretty good bull not the one he wanted but not to shabby either. Im just happy to have my personal slave/hubby back. haha Thats what he has felt like since he got home any ways. hey you know what every pregnant woman deserves a personal slave right. :)

So these are just some cute random photos but my girls love to help me in the kitchen so this was us making dinner this week. I was frying bacon for potato soup so I threw on my apron and of course that means my girls both need to get theirs on as well. What funny little things they are. So I know my kids really look like homeless children lately but man am I exhausted all of the time so I have a feeling that for the next 7 1/2 months this is what they will continue to look like. haha

Ok well I guess I better add a little bit more to this unexpected post. We are not due forever!!!!!!Well thats how it feels any way, it will be the end of April or beginning of May so that puts me at just 7 1/2 weeks. I know its early to be announcing this but for those of you who know me you know I cannot keep suprises to myself. So were in for a long winter but a very exciting spring! :) For those of you who asked, thanks so much and no I have not been sick at all. Whew. I am really lucking out so far, I am a little more tired than usuall, have an up and down appetite and am a little bit less patient (not hard to do) haha but over all I am feeling great! Plus my cha-chas have grown like 2 sizes already, woot woot who doesnt love that! :) Thanks again for all of your responses and we will keep you posted!!!! Oh and ps we will deffinetly find out what we are having, like I said bad at suprises, but Michael already knows its a boy which explains why he already has the color scheme and theme of the babies room all picked out and ready to purchase. haha :) You just gotta love that guy.

Michaels Deer 2008

Well my sweet heart that likes to go hunting oh so much got his deer 2 weeks ago! Yae one down and 2 to go. haha He is really happy with the one he got, it is in velvet still so its actually kinda pretty. Yes I called a deer pretty. Sorry about the blood in the pictures I know its totally gross! Michael is so proud and that makes me proud of him even though its not my thing!!!! :) Good Job babe! Ps thanks Dustin for being a good hunting partner.

Ok and ps this is silly but I am so proud of Michael for this. He gets Jayda ready most mornings and then takes her to school and he is getting really good and creative at her hair-do's in fact I think he is better then me now. :) haha I love you babe and thanks for all of your help your the best!!!!!

First day of KINDERGARTEN

This is Jayda trying to wake up enough to get ready for her 1st day of kindergarten. Im not a morning person either. :) She is so lucky that she has her wonderful cousins to walk to and from school with every day. Thanks guys! Jordyn is in the class next door and Garret is in her class.

She only has to walk 1 block to get to school but that includes crossing 3 streets and yes her mama is way paranoid. haha some times you just gotta let them go.

Heres her new class room she is sooo excited about everything.

This was what Mikelle and Jayda wanted to do when they got back together for the rest of the day. They love to play dress up, especially with mommys clothes.

Jayda had to get 5 shots on Tuesday and since she was soooo brave and such a good girl she got to go to the DOLLAR TREE to pick something out. My kids love that store!
For some reason Micky was trying to nap in the laundry basket, she is so funny.

Jayda has really started to be a big helper in the kitchen lately and wants to no longer just help me but do things all by herself. She unloads the dishwasher and puts most things away, she takes out the garbage and puts a new liner in the can, she sweeps and washes the countertops. Whew thats more than I even do. :) haha So this day Jayda decided she wanted to make lunch for us all by herself and let me tell you she did a great job. She made shredded cheese sandwiches with a lot of mayo and 1 piece of ham. haha she is so cute. :) Dont worry tho she did remember to throw some carrots on the side to keep it a little healthy.

Wow well once again this month has completely flown by. It has been a fun one though full of family reunions, birthdays, performances, games,parades, pool parties and all kinds of other fun things. I am getting a little sad thinking that Jayda is going to Kindergarten in only 2 weeks. It seems like her first 5 years have just flown by and Im sure that the next 13 will also. :( Here are just a few pictures from the last week) :)

This was closing night of JOSEPH and my whole family was there (yae!!). It was so much fun, we had a great closing night. This is my little sister Leslie who got to come spend the last 3 weeks in AZ, we already miss you!

Jayda really enjoyed getting to participate in this with me but after doing 7 shows I think she had had enough, so we let her just watch the closing night.

This is one of my new friends from the cast, Jessica, we were Potiphars maids. I know the glasses rock huh.

Ok so this has nothing to do with the play but here is another quick story. So I should announce that I have officially been drawn for my first hunt ever. AHHHHHH I am really scared but dont tell my hubby because he is really excited. :) Well any way Michael was so excited that he ran out and bought me my very own gun like 4 days later. haha So this is what happend the first time I ever shot my brand new, very own 243 rifle. I SCOPED my self. haha Well for those of you who dont know the expression its when you have your face to close to the scope and when you fire a shot, the scope comes slamming back into your fore head. OUCH Well thats not quite what I said but I better edit for childrens sake. :) well any who this is the best picture I could get of it tho it doesnt quite do it justice.

Thanks to every one who was so supportive through this whole ordeal, family, friends and especially my HUBBY and Kiddos. It was deffinetly hard on our family but it was a great experience for me and Im glad they put up with it all. Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a quick line and say hello to everyone. Hopefully tomarrow I can posts some pics and some videos of the progress of the play. Its finally coming together but we only have 7 days left!!!!! Wow that is really scary!! The performances are the 17th, 18th and 19th and then the 24th, 25th and the 26th is closing night! There will be an extra matinee show on the 17th at 2:00 pm but the rest of the shows are all at 7:00 pm at the high school auditorium and the cost is 4-8$. You can buy tickets early at the Snowflake chamber of commerce! But hurry because they are selling like hotcakes! :) I hope that any of you who want to come will get a chance, Its really funny and alot of fun for kids and adults. It would make for a great family outing!! Spread the word and thanks!

Well being the clutz that I just naturally am, I dunked my phone in a cup full of water on Monday. I know, I know what a spaz! Sorry to anyone who has tried to call me the last couple of days, we are getting our house phone fixed next week so I have been stranded with no way of contacting any one and let me tell you I felt so lost. :( Well I ruined the thing really good (it looks bloated) so I have no phone numbers!!! 1st Haircut, 4 wheelers, Anniversary and More

Ok so alot has been going on in the last few weeks so I am doing one big post to cover everything. My wild husband and I had our 3rd (feels like 30th) anniversary and it was pretty much just another day but we did sneak off between our 5 ball games that day to go to DQ and get a quick bite of ice cream. Which brings me to the 4-wheelers, my sweet heart thought that I really needed a new 4-wheeler because my current one was to small (ha) so I guess that was kind of my gift from him. The truth is just the opposite though, it was really a gift for himself and I get the older, smaller bike. Not that it really matters to me, its just funny. :)

Any who we have been playing tons of ball already Michael is trying to play in 3 leagues, I am in 2 (when I can make it) and Jayda has a T-ball game once a week. Whew! I am also rehearsing for JOSEPH 2 nights a week from 6-10 and every other saturday from 9-4. Its been a blast so far but man am I out of shape, I am sooo sore!!!

Mikelle finally got her first real hair cut, I only took off an 1"- 1 1/2 " , but it looked like so much more, I think she looks so cute though! Jayda decided she didnt want short hair this time so we left it alone but fixed it curly for something new.

In the midst of all of our madness we managed to sneak off for a few hours memorial day weekend to go ride and hang out with some of our good friends, thanks guys for having us out, we had sooo much fun. We need to take the trailers out soon and go camping for real.

Well that sums it up for now, hopefully the next time I post it wont be so huge!

Jayda was tagged and we are to write 7 facts about her. So here is what I came up with.

#1. Jayda is DRAMATIC haha. No but really I think she has got a future in acting or some sort of performing.

#2. She will probably hate me for this some day, but she has always slept with one eye open! When she was a baby it would freak me out but I guess we are used to it now and its just really funny!! If you click on the picture you can see it better. :)

#3. Jayda is a sweet heart! She has her moments just like any other 5 year old but she is really kind. She always wants to be giving people something like money out of her piggy bank and making silly cards for every one just because.
#4. Jayda is a great big sister. I mean come on of course there is the constant "mom she has the book I was looking at", and the pestering and stuff. But truly she loves her little sissy!
They love to play together. #5. She has the most beautiful blue eyes! I dont know where they even came from but Im sure glad she lucked out!
#6. Her favorite foods are

Ketchup Tacos (grandma Vickis recipe), my home made banana bread, chocolate milk or

regular milk, and of course pizza!!

#7. Jayda is a ray of sunshine! She loves to sing! She is always going around the house singing these funny little songs she makes up. She loves to make people happy. She knows no strangers (kinda scary sometimes) but she can strike up a convo with any one any where! It is such a great attribute and Im sure it will be great for her later on in her life.

My sweet little thumb sucker

Mikelle is definitely one of those kids who never liked a pacifier, but will not go to sleep with out the aide of her thumb! Secretly..... I really love it! haha We are sadly thinking we should try to break her of it soon and I am not looking forward to that. She is so good with it, its to bad that society might think its a bad thing plus I dont want her to end up with crazy thumbs(Mel and Kara :) or crazy teeth. So any pointers on how to break the habit would be great! Lately she is also one of those kids who wont go to sleep with out mom or dad holding her and I was up to 3 am this morning trying to break her of that one before I finally gave up! haha

So here I am this afternoon trying to put us both down for a nap (I have to work tonight) and she was singing a lullaby with me and back to me and it was soooo cute, she is such a little sweet heart! I had my camera close by (YAE!) so I recorded her singing this it is really adorable, sorry you have to hear me in there but she wouldnt do it on her own. The other is a really cute pic of her and her daddy falling asleep the other night! See ya later

Well I dont know about you guys, but my hubby sometimes thinks that he needs to have a say on what I put on this blog. haha Not even but I guess I can humor him today! :) j/k Honey.
So we breed german shorthair puppies and he's been telling me for weeks that I need to post some pics of our sweet little babies so here they are finally. We only have one left and I think we might have already sold her but if not Michael thinks we have room in our home for just one more dog. :) He is so funny with these guys. This was our mama dogs last time though and we are sad because she is the best and has awesome puppies. But now she can live out the remainder of her life in peace and quiet and with out bleeding saggy boobies! Hurray for Allie!

Well its getting close to mothers day and I just need to give my mother a shout out! She is such a wonder woman and I really appreciate her. Last week was a rough one for me, I ended up working 6 nights in a row and that was close to 65 hours! yuck. On Thursdays I usually dont have a baby sitter in the mornings so that I can sleep because I dont work Thursday nights. So any way I was driving home Thursday morning (night #5) and I couldn't stay in the lines, I woke up a few times to the waaaaaaaaa sound. Well I have a 30 minute commute home so 20 minutes into the drive I finally called my mom to tell her my dilemma. I needed to have Jayda to pre-school by 9 and picked up by 11 and I had quite a few other things I needed to accomplish that day. So that meant no sleep for me! :( So my mother sais "Get the girls up and ready and I will be there to pick them up at 8:30". I finally made it home (thank heavens) and my mom was there at 8:30 she took the girls and said she would bring them back later in the afternoon. I called and cancelled everything I had to do for the day and went to sleep at 9 am and didnt wake up untill 4 pm. I slept for 7 hours strait!!!! Ok so that might not sound like a lot but I normally get 4-5 hours a day and its usually broken sleep like and hour here and an hour there. I felt like a new woman! I just needed to say thank you, thank you, thank you to my mom because even though it is such a small thing it was a HUGE thing for me! She is so wonderful in so many ways and has helped me more than I could ever express! This was only one example! We love you so much mom! :) Thanks!!!!

So Mikelle is starting to be a little bit sneaky. I was fixing Jaydas hair in my bathroom and couldnt find my hairspray. All of the sudden I could hear this spray sound, I knew Micky had my aerosol spray some where but I could not find her any where. I finally had to yell out that she was going to get a spankin when she starts to cry no, no, no. She was in the middle of my family room hiding under my quilts on the rack. It was sooo funny but I tried to keep a serious face so that she knew not to do it again. Well not 5 minutes later she came running out of my room with a girly thing covering her mouth dying laughing at herself. Oh my gosh I lost it there, it is way to hard to be upset with that girl!!!! It was so funny. They always keep us on our toes dont they. hahaha

Well I am so excited, I tried out for a production they are doing here in town back in January but I never heard back from the people in charge so I just figured I hadnt made it. Well a few nights ago I finally got a call telling me that I had been chosen for one of the main parts for "Joseph and the technicolor dreamcoat"! I used to do plays and performances quite alot but I have been out of the loop for a while. I am really excited to get back into this kind of stuff. My family is going to hate it but I am grateful that Michael is being really supportive of me. As a mom some times it feels like all of your ambitions and things you would love to do get put on the back burner, so I am really happy to be getting this oppurtunity!

Mikelles 2nd Birthday!

Our baby girl is growing up way to fast. She turned 2 yesterday March 30th, and I have to admit, I am really sad. I know they grow up fast, but she is just doing all of these things that make her a big girl now (like potty-training herself) and I just realize she is not my baby any more. Its a little depressing. :( j/k We are so grateful to have this little, sweet, crazy ball of fire in our lives! I dont know what we would do with out her.

Well here is where it all began. Mom looking oh so stylish in stripes! haha I do not love being pregnant. These pictures are a little painful for me to look at.
This is one of my favorite pictures with me and Mikelle. She had the blackest hair and looked a little spanish or something because she had such dark skin. She was born in the evening on March 30 2006, she weighed 6 lbs 7 oz and was 20" long. We were immediatly in love with her!

Ok this is just gonna be a quick rant session so bare with me. I am done, I have gained almost as much weight as the 1st time I was pregnant (and im not pregnant) and its got to stop. I dont have very much energy, I feel like BLAHHH and I cant even get 3/4 of my jeans on any more and I have had it. I don't know if I just let my "Holiday Weight" start 6 months early and go over for like 3 months after or what but I need to really get a handle on my self so I am making a commitment now to knock it off. I am not going to starve myself or do any crazy out there diets but I am going to eat healthier foods and much smaller portions. My friend Ashley and I are going to run 2-3 miles three times a week and also play racquetball every saturday morning. My hubby and I are going to play in a coed volley ball league (not so much exercise but fun) and I am also playing womens volley ball 3 times a week (much more exercise and excitement). My goal is to lose 10-15 lbs, to fit in my pants again and this is going to sound weird but I want to be able to do the splits again so I need to work on my stretches. So I guess I am posting this for the world to see, to give myself that extra motivation because I really need it and who knows maybe I will help motivate some one else! :) I will keep you posted on the progress. Ps If any one has any good weight loss tips, good exercises or some yummy healthy recipes please share them with me, I really need help!!! Thanks so much. :) Tree

This last weekend the girls and I went to my sister Karas house and had such a fun time. Michael was off hunting something somewhere and her honey was at the dunes in CA, so it was officially a girls weekend!!! It was a great, lazy, relaxing good time. We did all the good girly stuff like painting our nails, watching chick flicks, a tightening face mask, and just plain ol girl talk. We really love spending time with my sister, she is such a fun person. Not to mention she is GORGEOUS so shes nice to look at too. haha Thank you for a great time and a really comfy bed! We love you so much Kara!! :)

Michael finally cut his hair today! (thank you much) it was getting a little long and scary kind of hedge-hogish (probably not a word) so it deffinetly looks better! I think he is one good looking man! Just for the record he was not very happy about me posting this and to get a decent picture of him took some serious convincing! haha

Ok so we had just finished dinner the other night and I left the room to go do something and when I got back this is what I see. Mikelle is up on the counter (her favorite place) with a little plastic knife and is going to town on the tub of butter that I had left out. Oh my goodness we were laughing so hard but we were also trying to take the butter from her(unsuccessfully) haha. She deffinetly got that from her daddy cause he thinks everything should be cooked with lots of butter!!!! It was to funny to get mad but it was deffinetly gross!!! haha

So Jayda Lynn woke up super sick today with a fever of 103.1 YUCK! But she has all in all been in pretty good spirits. She was laying on my bed while I was trying to finally post on this poor blog and she sais to me " Mom is my fore-noggin still hot" it cracked me up. Michael always refers to her head as a noggin and I guess she has picked up on it. It was to cute especially when she felt so bad. I hope she will bounce back soon, because even though I love the cuddle time and the very "dependentness" she is just not my spunky little Jayda right now! :(

Well this is Jayda after her long soak in the tub, some tylenol, a little chicken noodle soup and a good dose of cartoons. I think she is doing quite a bit better but is still not quite up to par.

Well Im sure pretty much everyone has heard by now of the death of our beloved prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. The news spread like wild fire last night that he had passed. I hadnt known what to post about for a while but now I cant think of a better thing!!! I have been reading all of the articles and tributes online any where I can and I have been learning alot about our president. Many things I already knew but some that were new to me. One of his greatest accomplishments were all of the temples that have been built. Did you know that the number went from 49 to 120 during his time as prophet? I didn't. What a wonderful man and leader. I am so grateful to have been able to live during this time. :) I hope every one is doing well and hope to see or hear from you all soon.

I remember this and I remember laughing very hard for a long time. What a personality!!!

Ok so this is a little late but because we had sooo many c-mas photos I didn't feel like uploading them all. I know I am lazy but here is one of our traditions passed down from my family. Every Christmas Eve my Grandma Hall would give us pjs so that we could wear them that night. We have adopted that one for our family and this was our c-mas eve pic with our new pjs. Me and the hubby just got flannel bottoms but that is just as good for me. The girls also got to open one other gift from us and that was a new ornament for the tree for each of them. They hung them on the tree and then got tucked in to wait for Santa to come. :)

This is the funniest thing ever! Ok not quite but it was great. Our nieces and nephews got a Wii last year for Christmas and we broke it out again this year for a laugh filled day. We just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. We have had a really great year. Michael is still working as a Foreman for Dream Home Developers. He is really enjoying his job and he does very well for them. I am a full time mommy as well as being a full time Lab Assistant. I have been there about 6 years now and it is still ok. I enjoy my job most of the time I only wish I wasnt so much of a Zombie! haha
The girls have both grown and changed so much this year. Mikelle had her 1st birthday, she started walking, talking, playing and is just being so independent now. She is a little ball of fire and has us laughing all of the time. She loves to ham it up! I hate to admit it but she is deffinetly a daddys girl. They are the best of friends. Michael is pretty much wrapped around this little girls finger! But that is good. Jayda just had her 5th birthday and to be honest I still cant believe she is that old. She is involved in pretty much every thing this year. She was doing ballet, tap, tumbling, a choir, soccer and she is in a preschool class once a week. Whoooo thats alot! She loves to be active and she is mommys big helper. She has her own chores and is working on being a big girl now. Mikelle and Jayda have also become the best of friends this year and I love it. They love to play dolls, and tea partys, pretty much any thing together. Dont get me wrong the fight alot but hey they are sisters right.
Michael has had a fun year hunting and helping guide some of his good friends. He didn't get his deer this year but I have a feeling he will make up for that soon. haha As always we were both playing alot of sports. Softball, volley ball and basket ball (michael) . I am trying to do my share of hobbies and things also. I am still in a scrap book club, I play volley ball weekly (if not more) and I am still trying to stay very involved with any type of music. Which brings me to my church calling that I love! I get to be the Primary music leader!! I absolutly love this. The kids are all so wonderful and it lets me get really creative and have lots of fun. It is something that doesn't make me nervous either! Michael is in the elders presidency and he is enjoying that. He is a talker so it just comes naturally to him.

Well on Monday and Tuesday night this week we put up our Christmas lights and some outdoor decorations. It was fun but getting a little cold! After Michael had loads of fun scaring the girls by throwing them in the air we had some hot cocoa to warm back up! I love this time of year! :)

O.K. so I've been tagged to write 6 facts or things about me. Thanks Traci :). I am just using Traci's and putting my own spin on it cause Im lazy. haha

1. My biggest pet peave is not having milk on Sunday mornings. haha I know weird right.

2. I love to just watch my kids. I am amazed by them and the things they think up. Today Mikelle was loading and unloading her baby doll (and all of its personal belongings) into this chair and the whole time she just kept saying "sleepy" over and over. It was so cute to me.

3. I love MUSIC!!! I love everything about music. I love to play the piano and sing. I love to hear a really good "skin tingling" baritone\tenor! (ex. Josh Groban) AHHHHH. Now thats heaven You might not know that I am taking voice lessons, as well as giving them.

4. I love when my husband gets in a mood. (not like that) Where he is just so ambitious I never know what he might do. I can come home one day and find a pond in my back yard, or our entire house will have new molding or something like that. He is a little crazy. haha I love ya honey.

5. I love having a wood stove in my house. OK random I know but it is so comfortable to me. I always had one in our homes growing up and it just reminds me of that I guess. When I was little we would wake up in the mornings to read scriptures(6am) and we would all go snuggle around the fire and try to stay awake. haha Ahhhhh. Good times Good times! :)

6.One of my biggest dreams was to be an opera singer. From the time I was little I thought that would be amazing. Now my biggest dream is to make it through one meal with out having to sweep my wood floors again. haha funny how things change huh. BLACK FRIDAY

Well it is a holiday tradition on my husbands side of the family to be very serious black friday shoppers! This was only my 2nd year of participating in this wild tradition but it was soooo much fun!

We drove to Flagstaff on thursday night, got to our hotel room and tore into the sale adds. We finally went to sleep about 11:00 pm.

Then to my ears delight the alarm went off at 3:00 am and we were up and ready to go by 3:45 am.

This is us getting serious about the sales! Traci didn't get the memo. haha

We shopped all day and didn't get home untill about 8:pm. Wow!!! I deffinetly spent too much money but I got most of my Christmas shopping knocked out so that is good. I didn't throw any punches or any thing either so that is also a plus I hear. I did explode another egg though and this time it was all over myself. haha LOL Tobi. Well my best deal of the trip was by far the wool coat that Michael bought me. (He doesn't know that yet though. haha) and it was regularly 140$ and I got it for 40$. Not bad huh. I also got a food saver for like 70% off, also a smoking deal. We drove 2 vehicles this year (good call) and we pretty much had both packed from top to bottom!

Well most of all it was so much fun to get to spend quality time with the girls we had a blast! Good food (olive garden) , good company, good deals, good times, I Cant wait to do it all again next year!

The Best Fire Starter Ever

Ok so the other day we were getting ready to build a fire. I walked out of the room and when I came back this is what my baby was up to. She did almost all of this by herself Im not kidding. The only thing we helped her with was moving the wood the other direction and then of course Michael helped her light it. I was cracking up! She is such an observant and smart little girl! We could not imagine a day with out her to make us smile! :)

Jayda was our little "50s girl" she kept telling everyone that she was either a "Poodle" or a "fifteens girl" it has been cracking me up but we finally got it down.

Mikelle was a "flapper girl" which is totally random I know but I think whe was sooo adorable. She had the cutest white feather boa that went with it but she was not having any part of it! Oh well you cant win them all. We mostly just went to familys houses and we deffinetly got the hook up from them all!!! Thanks guys!!!! We met up at Tobis house and got pics with all 17 grandkids before the trick or treating so here are some of those.

This was all of the grandkids on Michaels side except Tracis baby Brittyn.

Hiking down the street to the next house is a challenge with this many kiddos. You need a police escort or something. haha

The Annual Pumpkin Carving Party

Well it was once again time for the Abbotts to get some pumpkins carved. We had a great time at my sister in law Tracis house. She made some killer "smokey" (haha Traci) potato soup with rolls. It totally hit the spot after being outside in the cold wind for an hour. I helped carve Mickys "UMPKINANA", but Jayda was all about doing hers all alone this year. She did a really good job!!! The kids had fun and did a good job on each of their pumpkins. We then played, talked, ate, ate some more and then had some really scary looking cupcakes. Thanks to all of my sister in laws who make every thing so much fun and always include everyone!!! I am so thankful for the wonderful family I married into!!!

Ok so Brittney you deffinetly called this one. Haha So I walk in the living room to see my baby trying to help fix Michaels gun. Now before anyone freaks let me explain. So Michael had the gun inside(not loaded) because he had just bought a new scope and was attaching it. Well when he was done Micky thought it would be neat to be just like daddy. I was dying laughing. It was such a funny moment. I think she will deffinetly take after her father. He was loving this as Im sure you all know. No worries though the huge screwdriver and gun are safely put away now!!!! :)

The Last picnic

Well Jayda decided that we needed to have one last picnic before it was to cold outside. So thats what we did. We had some ham and cheese rolls with mustard to dip them in but for some reason both of my girls thought that the mustard tasted better on their apple slices. YUCK!!! But to each their own, right. We had fun in the nice weather, I hope it will last just a little bit longer up here.

Later that night the girls found the most expensive toy in the house! :) Well maybe the computer that came in it, but the box was free. I love how that works. They played in this for like hours. They were cracking me up. See ya.

This is Jayda getting ready for our preschool class yesterday. She is really loving it and looks forward to "thursday" every week. We have 5 sweet little girls in our class and so far we havnt had any major cat fights. She learns a new letter, color, number, song, and lesson every week. They love show-n-tell and especially their snack and craft portions of the class. Being that it is a joy school that means each mom gets a turn every week at being the teacher and I had so much fun doing this. I am actually looking forward to my next turn!!! We really lucked out and have such a good group. Thank you to all of the moms for this!!!!

The Pumpkin Patch

Well I decided I needed to get a few pumpkins to decorate my front porch, so we went to the Willis farm(always fun)!!! Needless to say 1 1/2 hrs and 20$ later we came home with some sweet pumpkins. My front porch looks much more festive. We just got finished with Jaydas teams soccer practice so sorry dont laugh at the killer hair and outfits. Here are some of the pics from the patch haha. Hey all I am sorry I have been so bad but I have a good excuse. Well some how my computer got like a million viruses and it bit the big one but it was getting old any way so it just gave us an excuse to buy a new one!!! My sweet husband has been after me for days and days to get these pics on here from our Labor day camping trip. So finally I have accomplished it. We had such a good time on this trip. There was awesome food thanks to Devin and Todd and every one else, we played and took long 4 wheeler rides, ate some more, took naps, played games, ate some more etc. I deffinetly hope we do it again soon!!!! Well in the end of August we went to the annual reunion and it was great. The girls had so much fun. They got to play in the dirt and get as dirty as possible. They also had fun with the other kids and the 4 wheelers and games etc. It rained quite a bit while we were there but all and all it was still alot of fun.

SO I AM FINALLY CATCHING UP WITH ALL OF YOU TECHNO PEOPLE THAT DO THIS KIND OF STUFF. WELL ITS ME (TERESA) AND MY HUSBAND OF 2 YEARS MICHAEL, AND OUR 2 GORGEOUS GIRLS. THE OLDEST 4, IS JAYDA LYNN AND OUR BABY 1, IS RUBY MIKELLE WE CALL HER MICKY. LIFE IS PRETTY GOOD UP HERE IN GOOD OLD SNOWFLAKE. MICHAEL 25, IS WORKING AS A FOREMAN FOR A LOCAL CONSTRUCTION CO. WHICH HE IS LOVING. HE IS ALSO STILL WORKING FOR HIMSELF DOING LANDSCAPING ON THE SIDE. I AM 24 AND AM A 6 YEAR VETERAN OF THE NRMC LAB. THAT IS SCARY. I JUST WENT TO A PART TIME POSITION THOUGH SO I CAN BE AT HOME A LITTLE MORE WITH MY FAM. I AM VERY!! HAPPY ABOUT THAT. AT THE TIME WE HAVE 13 DOGS.
